The Patent System of Uzbekistan

The State Patent Office is the authorized state body participating in formation and realization of the uniform state policy in the field of industrial property protection, including rights on inventions, industrial designs, utility models, trademarks, service marks, appellation of origin of the goods, as well as in the field of legal protection of selection achievements, computer programs, databases and topology of integrated microcircuits.

The State Patent Office is accountable to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The State Patent Office carries out the activity according to the Position authorized by Decision Cabinet of Ministers ü 209 of June 14, 2002.
