The following data/documents are required for filing a UTILITY MODEL application in Armenia

In case of a convention application:

• Name(s) and address(es) of the author(s) and the applicants(s);
• Specification of the application (including description, the claims and an abstract);
• Drawings (if needed and if they are referred to in the specification);
• Power of attorney simply signed on behalf of the applicant(s) with indication of the full name and position of the signatory; neither legalization nor notarization is required;
• Certified copy of the first application(s).

Notes:

• The maximal term of a patent validity amounts to 10 years from the date of filing the application with the Patent Office.
• When claiming Convention priority in Armenia the Armenian convention application should be filed at the Armenian Patent Office within 12 months after the filing date of the first application in a State - party to the Paris Convention.

In case of entering the national phase of a PCT application as a utility model application:

• All documents of PCT application as published including specification, claims, abstract, and drawings; filing date(s) and serial number(s) of the Priority application(s); full name and address of the Applicant; full name(s) and address(es) of the inventor(s);
• Power of Attorney.

Note:

PCT applications shall enter the National Phase within 30 months from the priority date under PCT Chapter I or 31 months from the priority date under PCT Chapter II.
