The Patent System of Kazakhstan

Republic State Enterprise of the Committee of Intellectual Property Rights of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan "National Institute of Intellectual Property" (NIIP) was established in accordance with the Decree of the Government of RK No. 756 of July 11, 2002.

Legislation on Industrial Property Protection in Kazakhstan includes:

• Patent law of the Republic of Kazakhstan
• Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on trademarks, service marks and appellations of origin
• Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the protection of selection achievements
