The following data/documents are required for filing an industrial design application in Moldova

• Title of the Design (brief description of the product and its purpose is desirable);
• Name and address of the author(s) and applicant(s);
• Set of photos/drawings in as many views as needed to display all essential features of an industrial design (preferably a view in perspective, the front view, back view, side views, top and bottom views);
• Power of Attorney (no notarization or legalization required);
• In case of claiming priority - number, date and country of the priority application and a certified copy of the priority application.

Notes:

• The maximal term of a patent validity amounts to 25 (5+5+5+5+5) years from the date of filing the application with the Patent Office
• When claiming a Convention priority the convention application should be filed within 6 months after the filing date of the first application in a State - party to the Paris Convention
