The following data/documents are required for filing an INDUSTRIAL DESIGN application in Belarus:

• Title of the Design (brief description of the product and its purpose is desirable);
• Name and address of the author(s) and applicant(s);
• Set of photos/drawings in as many views as needed to display all essential features of an industrial design (preferably a view in perspective, the front view, back view, side views, top and bottom views);
• Power of attorney simply signed on behalf of the applicant(s) with indication of the full name and position of the signatory; neither legalization nor notarization is required;
• In case of claiming priority - number, date and country of the priority application and a certified copy of the priority application.
  
  

Notes:

• When claiming a Convention priority the convention application should be filed within 6 months after the filing date of the first application in a State - party to the Paris Convention.
• The maximal term of a patent validity in Belarus amounts to 15 years (10 + 5) from the date of filing the application with the Belarusian Patent Office.
