The following data/documents are required for filing a trademark application in Russia:
1) 1 print of the mark if it has to be applied in black and white, or 10 prints, if in color;
2) Applicant's exact name and address;
3) Exact list of goods and services, preferably according to the 8th edition of the International Classification;
4) Power of attorney (a form is enclosed) simply signed on behalf of the Applicant with indication of the full name and position of the signatory; neither legalization nor notarization is required. The Power of Attorney is not required at the moment of filing an application, however, it may be requested by the Examiner at any stage of examination.
5) Priority application No. and priority date, if the Convention priority is claimed (this information may be submitted within 2 months from the filing date);
6) Priority document, if any (may be submitted within 3 months from the filing date, subject to late filing expenses).
